asked:

In this learn Spanish software review we will look at if the Spanish teaching software does really work and to what extent. What most people are probably interested in is if such a software can really replace a real Spanish teacher and how effective the software can be for English speakers that want to learn to speak Spanish.

One of the things you will spot up front with the Spanish language software is that it can be used anytime and however you like. If you already can speak a few words of Spanish you might want to skip to more advanced lessons with can be done with a single click on a button.

Each of the lessons have carefully been divided into sections where you as a student can listen to real native Spanish speaking people repeat phrases and words. The program will also enable you to see what the actual phrases and words look like. The program will also use pictures in some instance which will make it easier for you to understand what is being discussed.

As the lessons progress you will also learn grammar as well as how to read written Spanish. Now the question you might be asking yourself is if such a software can indeed replace a teacher. Well if you want to familiarize yourself with the basics of Spanish language then this is an excellent software. Also if you have friends you can speak to you can brush up on your Spanish pretty fast.

However when it comes to speaking practice you will need access to a native speaker which in many cases is not difficult depending on where you live. I would say that this Spanish learning software works great especially if you want to just lean enough Spanish to get along either in a new country or with people around you.

Learn Spanish Language Online

Does anyone know of like, an online software (or maybe a book or whatever) that’s good for this sort of thing? I don’t want something that will start with beginners things. Plus I don’t have much money, so something like Rosetta Stone is out. Thanks!!

Easiest Way To Learn Spanish

Some Guy asked:

So I’m a college freshman who is interested in learning another language.
I took 3 semesters of Spanish in high school, but honestly the public school system in America kind of really sucks, so I have to say I didn’t really get much out of it. I’ve always wanted to become fluent in a least one language other than English…but silly me decided that I wanted to learn Japanese. Needless to say, I don’t expect I’ll become fluent in Japanese before I graduate, and have reassessed that decision, mainly because of the writing system (the kanji in particular).
So I’m looking at European languages now, probably German.
To the point though…I plan to take courses in whatever language I do decide on, and eventually do a semester abroad there as well. But I’m just wondering if there is any website or software or book out there that is particularly effective at introducing one to a language and/or teaching the language. I would like to start learning as soon as I can, rather than waiting for next year when I’ll take the class. And, despite the fact that college courses to seem to be less terrible than the classes at public high schools, I do not expect that I will get anywhere near fluency without practicing and further study on my own in addition to whatever is taught in class.
So yeah…anything you may know of would be great. Preferably something interactive (i.e.-it includes ways to test what has been learned and what needs more practice, etc.).

(Side note [sort of]: I have acquired the Rosetta Stone software for German, and started working on it. It hasn’t really impressed me…I’m looking for something more direct/tailored to the specific language/up front about grammar and other concepts. I will probably continue using it though, at least until I find something better, for the vocabulary if nothing else.)

Sorry for putting more info than is probably necessary, and thanks for whatever suggestions you may have.

Learn Spanish Like Crazy

5 asked:

A flyer came in the mail the other day from the Public Library on all the things they have to offer. One thing I noticed was the Rosetta Stone software. I was thinking about checking it out one day for Irish Gaelic over the summer maybe because I think it’d be fun to do. Is Gaelic hard to learn? I speak English, French and Spanish even though that won’t help much. I tried learning German last spring and I gave up because the grammar was really hard. My Spanish teacher tried learning German in college and she said the same thing and she said you have to learn it from birth. Is Irish Gaelic like that or is it easier?

Also would it look good on my college resume? Especially for nomination for the U.S. Air force Academy? Would they ask me to prove it?
I just thought it would be fun to do because I’m Irish but I was born in the U.S. , my first and last name is Irish. I just thought it would be fun to do.

Learn Spanish At Home
