How can I practice my Spanish language skills?
Hydrophilic asked:
I took Spanish for three years in high school, and I was really good at writing and reading the language. But its been 6 years since I graduated from high school and my Spanish skills have diminished greatly. Now I feel like I should not give up on what I learned and polish my language skills. What is an easy way to do that with out spending hours online reading stuff since I am in grad school? Any help is appreciated.

If you have forgotton past vocab, or need to refresh your memory of it, have a list of 10-15 words every day with the english and spanish translation of the word. Take 5 min in the morning and night, or all throughout the day when ever you are not doing something, pull out the list, repeat the words in spanish and english. Eventually you will memorize it all

How To Learn Spanish Quickly
See if your local library has books or magazines in Spanish, and don’t be afraid to start small and work your way up. Even children’s books will help. Do you like to watch movies? Rent movies that are in Spanish or see if there are movies you like with a Spanish language track. Listen to music in Spanish. Try keeping a journal in Spanish. Find people to speak Spanish with; speaking will probably be the most helpful, because it will make listening, reading and writing in Spanish easier for you in the long run. Try to keep it fun. See if you can find audio books in Spanish. I did an online search for audio books in French and found a website that had a ton of audio books in French and they were all free to download. Good luck.
